Wallis and Futuna (France)

Location: South Pacific Ocean Features: Three main volcanic islands with Polynesian culture and heritage. ● A French overseas territory, yet retains three traditional kingdoms.

Bhutan

Location: Himalayas, bordered by India and China. Features: Mountainous landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, and focus on Gross National Happiness. ● It became a constitutional monarchy in 2008; the king retains significant power.

Tonga

Location: South Pacific Ocean, an archipelago of over 170 islands. Features: Beautiful beaches, strong Polynesian traditions, and a rich history. ● One of the few remaining Polynesian monarchies.

Brunei

Location: Southeast Asia, on the island of Borneo. Features: Wealthy, oil-rich nation known for its lavish royal palace. Islamic sultanate with the Sultan holding absolute power.

Lesotho

Location: Southern Africa, surrounded by South Africa. Features: Mountainous terrain earning it the nickname "Kingdom in the Sky." ● Constitutional monarchy with the king's role largely ceremonial.

Eswatini (formerly Swaziland)

Location: Southern Africa, bordered by South Africa and Mozambique. Features: Beautiful scenery, rich Swazi traditions, and wildlife reserves. One of the world's last remaining absolute monarchies.
