The largest country in the world is also one of the coldest, with Oymyakon temperatures reaching as low as -67.7°C (-89.9°F).
Known for its vast wilderness, Canada experiences extreme cold, especially in areas like Snag, Yukon at -63°C (-81.4°F).
Although part of the Kingdom of Denmark, it's one of the coldest with temperatures hitting -69.4°C (-92.9°F) at North Ice.
Famous for its fjords, Norway also has harsh winters, with Karasjok dropping to -51.4°C (-60.5°F).
The USA's coldest state, Alaska, has recorded temperatures of -62°C (-79.6°F) at Prospect Creek.
Known for its thousands of lakes and islands, Finland's coldest temperature was -51.5°C (-60.7°F) in Kittilä

With a high altitude and landlocked geography, Mongolia experiences lows of -42.2°C (-44°F) in Zuunmod
This Central Asian country faces extreme winters, with temperatures dropping to -51°C (-59.8°F) in Atbasar.
Known for its Viking history, Sweden's coldest recorded temperature is -52.6°C (-62.7°F) in Vuoggatjålme.
